Organization/ Platform Missions
Al Fasoha Academy of Arabic is a non profit organization that aims to provide free education on learning arabic language to all. Arabic.my is a non-profit educational platform that provides free resources for learning Arabic to non-native speakers.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role of volunteers is to contribute time and skills to collect data, promoting as well as design the websites to benefit the community. Each volunteer will be assigned to a department according to their skills and passion. (based on interview)

Code of Conduct
All volunteers must adhere to the code of conduct as stated;
- Be professional (don’t involve personal issues into work environment)
- Teamwork (always work together as a team)
- Communication (Always refer and communicate with your head/ advisor)
- Confidentiality
Confidentiality and external Communication
Volunteers should be responsible in securing work information in the workplace. (work with ‘Amanah’)
Corrective action and Dismissal
If the volunteers did not abide by the code of conduct or missed their hours, they may be presented with a warning letter. Dismissal is the last choice after 2 warning letters and a discussion together with the said volunteer.
Hours Operations and Commitment
Volunteers may choose their preferred time and hours to contribute, but we only provide certificates for those who volunteer at least 10 hours a week for 12 weeks. Volunteers must commit according to the hours and time they picked.
Absent and Termination
We followed national public holidays other than weekends. Termination contract must be signed after completing the agreed volunteering period. If volunteers wish to terminate their volunteer contract early due to personal reasons, they may give written 2 weeks notice to their heads.
Volunteers shall be placed to a department based on their skills or the results of their interview
